Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetina of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of
October. 1980 . The following members were present:
Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport.Hoyt Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-752
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIANCES FOR THE JACOBS WIND ELECTRIC CO.
LOCATED AT 2720 FERNBROOK LANE (80042)
WHEREAS, the Jacobs Wind Electric Company has requested a conditional use permit
and variances to erect an 80 foot high tower with a wind generator mounted on it
to be located at 2720 Fernbrook Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of the Jacobs Wind
Electric Company for a conditional use permit and variances to allow the erection
of an 80 foot high tower with a wind generator mounted on it to be located at 2720
Fernbrook Lane subject to the following conditions:
1. Th,a permit is subject to all applicable rules, regulations, and ordinances,
and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. Effective measures shall be taken to prevent public interference.
3. Construction to be per applicable Building Code requirements.
4. Safety in operation and conditional use permit to be reviewed one (1) year
after installation.
5. Minimum setback distance from property lines shall be 5 feet.
6. There shall be no inconsistency with the site plan to the south of
this site.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Mint , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, rminrilmomharg DavanRprt -
HHovt. Neils and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
