The following members were ppresent: ., Acting Mayor avenport;7ouncilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Schneide _ ncilmber Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved s adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-717 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 828 - COUNTY ROAD 6 XENIUM LANE INTERSECTION WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: . County Road 6 from a point 310 feet west of the centerline of Annapolis Lane to Water Tower Circle, Xenium Lane from County Road 6 north 350 feet by the installation of concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and signal system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special Assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- ment levied against it. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assess- ment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assess- ment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this Resolution; and he may at any time thereafter pay the City Finance Director the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is: Concrete curb and gutter $25,498.09 6. The total cost to be financed by the City is: City share $55,132.64
