The following members were un,Counc mem ers Davenport, Neils and Schneider Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 695 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 809 - PIKE LAKE AREA UTILITIES WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: Hemlock Lane from County Road 10 to 62nd Avenue, 61st Avenue from Hemlock Lane east to its terminous, Goldenrod Lane from 60th Avenue to 61st Avenue, Goldenrod Lane from 60th Avenue south, County Road 10 from Hemlock Lane east approximately 1520 feet by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilities, sanitary sewer laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: as amended, I. Such proposed assessment,/a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands, named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- ment levied against it. .2. 3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 25 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1981, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December "31, 1981. To each subsequent instal ment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is: Water Lateral $ 97,491.35 Sanitary Sewer 184,188.79 Storm Sewer 26,683.80 Water and Sewer Services 28,048.14 Water Area 37,059.50 Sewer Area 33,096.00 $406,567.58 6. The total cost to be financed by the City is: Sanitary Sewer Trunk Fund $100,858.34
