The following webers were present: - a or Hunt ounC me�m6—res DavenDort, Neils and Schneider A!! !AA AAA Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 693A ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 806 - PINEVIEW LANE AREA WIND RIDGE AT BASS LAKE ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: Pineview Lane from County Road 47 south to Minneapolis/St. Paul/Sault Saint Marie Railroad, Oakview Lane in Palmer Cove Addition, County Road 47 from County Road 10 to I-494, and Pineview Lane from 49th Avenue to Minneapolis/ St. Paul/Sault Saint Marie Railroad by the installation of sanitary sewer laterals and trunk facilities, watermain laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous streets (9 -ton design on Pineview..lane and 7 -ton design on residential streets) with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities (including previously constructed facilities) and all necessary appurtenances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: as amended, 1. Such proposed assessment,/a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- ment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 5 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or.beifore the first Monday in January, 1981, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per , annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1981. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. r Resolution No. 80-693A r _ -Page 2 S' W iL 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance' Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid''` within 30 days from the adoption of this Resolution; and he may at any time there- after, pay the City Finance Director, the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31, of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5 The total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is: Street $31,006.20 6. The total cost to be financed by the City is: 0.00.
