RESOLUTION NO. 80 - 690 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 707 - SEVEN PONDS AREA WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: County Road 24 from 32nd Avenue northeasterly approximately 1040 feet and from 32nd Avenue approximately 1250 feet, 32nd Avenue from County Road 24 to a point 188.52 f101-10west of the centerline of Fountain Lane and Holly Lane southwesterly from 32nd Avenue by the installation of sanitary sewer laterals and trunk 'acilities, watermain laterals and trunk facilites, storm sewer and 7 -to.- bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: as amended, 1. Such proposed assessment,/a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shalt constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assess- ment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 15 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1981, and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1981. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this Resolution; and he may at arty time there- after, pay the City Finance Director, the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31, of the year in which such payment is made. 8 Resolution #80-690 Page 2 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended onthe proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collectea and pail over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is: Water Lateral $ 65,062.44 Sanitary Sewer 106,275.05 Street 121,616.60 Sewer Area 17,172.00 Water Area 32,139.00 $342,265.09 6. The total cost to be financed by the City is: Water Trunk Fund $3,518.89
