HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-656CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of September , 19 80. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Davenport, Councilmen eters Hoyt and Schneider The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt,ouncilmem e12 r Veils Co4ncilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 656 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 18.023 M.S.A. and Chapter XX, Section 2020.13 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, the City Manager of the City of Plymouth has caused the destruction and removal of di,seased trees on certain lands within the City of Plymouth, and a determina- tion has been made, as provided by law, and the total amount of such work including costs incurred is in the amount of $5,333.90 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $5,333.90. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the Clerk's office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by � Cguncilmember�Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereo:F: _ Acting Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hgyt and Schneider _ The following voted against or absta ned: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and adapted.
