CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinn_ of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
15th day of September , 19 80. The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt and Schneider
The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt, Louncilmember Neils
oWncilmember Schneider introduced the followina Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-655
EMERGENCY PUMPING OF PARKERS LAKE
WHEREAS, the above average rainfall accumulated over the past several months
has created an emergency condition on Parkers Lake within the City of Plymouth;
WHEREAS, because of these high water levels the City Council deems it appropriate
to declare an emergency condition exists and finds it is in the best interest of
The City's health and welfare to lower the water to the normal water elevation
by means of pumping;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
1. The Public Works Department is to take the necessary steps to secure
pumps, piping, etc. to pump Parkers Lake.
2. The cost of pumping will be paid for from the Sinking Fund which will be
replaced at some future date from the Parkers Lake Outlet Construction
Project.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
