Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
16th day of September , 1980 . The following members

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-654
REQUESTING SPEED LIMIT STUDY - FERNBROOK LANE
COUNTY RD. 6 TO COUNTY RD. 9
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth recently made roadway improvements on
Fernbrook north of Highway 55; and
WHEREAS, the roadway on Fernbrook both north and south of Highway 55
is a four -lane permanent roadway; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation will upon request from
local authorities conduct an engineering and traffic study to ascer-
tain a safe and reasonable speed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Commissioner of Transportation be re-
quested to undertake a traffic engineering study on Fernbrook Lane
from County Rd. 6 to County Rd. 9.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
