C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2021-054
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING S PECIAL A PPROPRIATION A PPLICATION
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Plymouth act as the legal sponsor for the project contained in
Laws of Minnesota 2020, 5th Special Session, chapter 3, article 1, section 21, subdivision 32 entitled
Plymouth; Plymouth Creek Center.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Plymouth as the legal authority to receive financial
assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate project
administration.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local match identified in the
development proposal are committed to the project identified.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Plymouth has not violated any Federal, State or local
laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or
corrupt practice.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its development proposal by the state, the
City of Plymouth may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above-referenced
project(s), and that the City of Plymouth certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and
regulation as stated in all contract agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that special appropriation application is authorized and the Mayor and City Manager are
directed to execute the application as necessary for the project on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 9th day of February, 2021.
