HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-632CITY OF PLYMJM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a sReciall meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of September , 19 80. The following members were present: ayor unt, Councimem ers Davenport, Neils and Schneider The following members were sent: Councilmember Hoyt *ee Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-632 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 828 - COUNTY ROAD 6 AREA WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. County Road 6 from a point 310 feet west of the centerline of Annapolis Lane to Water Tower Circle 2. Xenium Lane from County Road 6 north 350 feet by the installation of storm sewer, concrete curb and gutter, signal system and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $68,112.13 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $12,518.60, so the total cost of the improvement will be $80,630.73, and of this cost the City will pay $55,132.64 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUHT, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $25,498.09. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land with the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon teh Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
