Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the
2nd day of Se tember , 19 80 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers avenport,Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: Councilmember Hoyt
Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-628
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 920 - TURTLE LAKE SANITARY SEWER TRUNK AND WATER TRUNK
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
1. The west leg of the Turtle Lake Trunk Sewer to Point "C"
• 2. Trunk water main along Vicksburg Lane from Co. Rd. 9 to north
line of Section 16.
by the installation of watermain trunk facilities, sanitary sewer trunk facilities
10 and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is
$136,402.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said
improvement amount to $31,708.49 so the total cost of the improvement will be
$168,110.49 and of this cost the City will pay $99,135.49 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $68,975.00.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the Office of the Clerk for
public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
