The following members were present:—%l yor Tunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Neils and Schneider The 1"ollowing members were absent: Councilmember Hoyt Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 626 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 846 RAPPAPORT ADDITION AREA WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. 30th Avenue from West Medicine Lake Drive to Larch Lane 2. Larch Lane from 39th Avenue southeasterly approximately 532 feet and from 30th Avenue North approximately 179 feet 3. Magnolia Lane northwesterly from 30th Avenue 4. Medicine Lake Drive from 30th Avenue southeasterly approximately 292 feet and from 30th Avenue northwesterly approximately 610 feet by the installation of watermain lateral, sanitary sewer laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $386,928.98, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $71,152.51, so the total cost of the improvement will be $458,081.49, and of this cost the City will pay $85,533.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $372,548.49. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for sanitary sewer area charges for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing use land zoning. Sanitary Sewer Area Residential: $300.00 per 1/2 acre lot or $600.00 per acre Resolution ! 80-626 Page 2 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of alnd within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
