HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-625CITY OF PLYbDUIti Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, as ecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of S September , 19 80. The following manbers were present: Mayor Hunt, Co�u cilmembersDavenport, Neils and Schneider were +►se Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-625 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 802 - LARCH LANE AREA WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. Larch Lane from County Road 9 to Soo Line Railroad by the installation of watermain laterals, sanitary sewer laterals, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $437,149.04 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said imrpvement amount to $88,396.70, so the total cost of the improvement will be $525,545.74, and of this cost the City will pay $95,230.35 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $430,315.39. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: yor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and aopted.
