Special Council Meeting
January 22, 2021
Mayor Wosje called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 9:30 a.m.on January 22,
2021.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Wosje, Councilmembers Willis, Carroll, McGregor, Roehl, Davis,and Prom.
Entire Council participated remotely per State Statute 13D.021).
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Callister,Administrative Services Director Hokkanen, Economic
Development Manager Parr, and City Clerk Engdahl.
On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Rock Elm Tavern
City Clerk Engdahl requested approval of on sale intoxicating liquor license with Sunday sales for Rock
Elm Plymouth, LLC d/b/a Rock Elm Tavern, 16605 County Road.Suite 211.She explained the license was
discontinued on January 15, 2021 after receiving communication from the licensee on December 23,
2020 that they were ceasing operations.This license would be for January 22 through January 31, 2021.
She noted the licensee recently submitted application for renewal of liquor license for February 1,2021
through January 31, 2022,and that license will be approved at the January 26, 2021 Council meeting.
Troy Reding, licensee, stated that while they are still in lease negotiations,they have an event planned
for January 21 through February 28, 2021 where they desire to serve liquor.
Motion was made by Councilmember Roehl, and seconded by Councilmember Willis,to adopt a
Resolution Approving On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License with Sunday Sales for Rock Elm Plymouth, LLC
d/b/a Rock Elm Tavern, 16605 County Road 24,Suite 211(Res2020-041).With all members voting in
favor,the motion carried.
Adjournment
Mayor Wosje adjourned the meeting at 10:10 a.m.
