Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
18th day of August , 19 80. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Council_members_ Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Schneider introduced the followina Resolution and
moved its a option:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-570
AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR
PROJECT NO. 708 AND 023
COUNTY ROAD 15 BIKEWAY AMD PINEVIE4 LANE IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, the County and the City for some time have been negotiating to bring
about improvement to the intersection of County Road 15 and Pineview Lane
(Project 023) and the Bikeway along County Road 15 from Zachary Lane to I-494
(Project 708) and
WHEREAS, the above described project lies within the corporate limits of the City
of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, the City's consulting engineer has hertofore prepared an engineer's
estimate of quantities and unit prices of materials and labor for the above
described project and an estimate of the total cost for the contract work in the
sum of $325,758.00 and
WHEREAS, it is contemplated that said work be carried out by the City under the
provision of M.S. Section 162.17, Subdivision 1,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the attached
"Construction Cooperative Agreement" with Hennepin County for said project.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
