The following members were Counci mem ers 6avenp-oFF, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider . none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-551 APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO LAND USE GUIDE PLAN MAP RELATIVE TO PROPOSED "CARLSON CENTER" LOCATED SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 15 ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF I-494 (80019) WHEREAS, Carlson Companies, Inc. has proposed certain amendments to the City's Land Use Guide Plan Map relative to a proposed development known as "Carlson Center" located in the south 1/2 of Sections 33 and 34 south of County Road 15 on the east and west sides of I-494; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal in conjunction with a proposed rezoning and preliminary plat at a duly called public hearing on April 30, 1980 and at a subsequent meeting at which public testimony was taken on June 25, 1980; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it shnuld and hereby does approve and direct certain amendments to the City's Land Use Guide Plan Map relative to the proposed development by Carlson Companies, Inc. known as "Carlson Center" in the south 1/2 of Sections 33 and 34, south of Councty Road 15 on the west and east sides of I-494 per the Exhibit 80019 staff -dated June 25, 1980; FURTHER, said Exhibit be revised to reflect IP land use in Area II, CL land use be reflected in Area VI and IX in the corridor between the north -south collector street and I-494; Areas VII and VIII reflect IP land use, with the exception of LA -2 transition between Councty Road 15 and the IP uses in those areas, to a depth sufficient to permit a viable LA -2 type development. In Area II, effective transition between Residential and Industrial areas shall be provided. In Areas VII and VIII, transition shall be provided to the northeast and southwest to existing and proposed Residential areas. FURTHER, the proposed rezoning and preliminary plat general development plans shall be revised accordingly to reflect the approved guiding and the movement of the north -south collector streets westerly as far as possible on the east side of I-494. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vnted votedin favor thereof: or Hunt Councilmembers Daven rt, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider , me foH owing voted against or abstained: , none • Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
