Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was -he-don the
4th day of August , 19 86 . The following members

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved—its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80 -549
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF
MILEAGE TO CITY EMPLOYEES USING THEIR
OWN VEHICLES ON CITY BUSINESS
WHEREAS, it is necesn ry from time to time that City employees must use
their own automobiles while engaged in City business; and
WHEREAS, in such circumstances it is the policy of the City to reimburse
said employees for their costs in the operation of said vehicles; and
WHEREAS, said reimbursement is made on the basis of the number of miles
driven by said employees on City business which reimbursement may vary from
time to time depending on the increase or decrease in the costs of operating a
motor vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Administration of the State of Minnesota
periodically publishes the mileage allowance to be paid to state employees who
use their own vehicles in the performance of state business;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that the City Manager is authorized and directed to reimburse employees
of the City who use their automobiles while engaged on City business the mileage
allowance authorized by the Commissioner of Administration of the State of
Minnesota to be paid to state employees; and
FURTHER, that Resolution 80-398, "A Resolution Revising Mileage Reimbursement
for City Employees" is hereby rescinded.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Couqcilmember Qaven t and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: Mawr Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport.
