Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
Ath day of August , 19 80 . The following members
were present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport,-Royt and Schneider
The following members were absent: Councilmember eiTs
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-527
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 006 - EMPIRE LANE
WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on August 4, 1980, the City Clerk was
directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements:
1. Empire Lane from Harbor Lane 1,130 feet north
by the installation of watermain laterals and sanitary sewer laterals, bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 25th day of August, 1980, in the City Council
Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such
time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement
will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost
of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given
to the owner of each parcel described $n the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Davenport . and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hunts Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: Napp
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pas.sedand adopted.
