HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-526CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of August , 19 86The following members were present: Ma or Hunt, ounce mem ers avenpo'r�Hoyt and Schneider The following members were absent: unci mem er ei s Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-526 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 944 - WINDSONG ADDITION WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on August 4, 1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 1. Kimberly Lane from County Road 24 northwesterly by the installation of watermain laterals and sanitary sewer laterals, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, ' MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 25th day of August, 1980, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon, the Toillowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, The following voted against or a sta ne -_ Noce Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed'and adopted.
