Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
' Ath day of August , 1980 . The following members
were present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and Schneider
The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmembgr Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-520
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 809
PIKE LAKE AREA
WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on August 4, 1980, the City Clerk was
directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements:
I. Hemlock Lane from County Road 10 to 62nd Avenue
2. 61st Avenue from Hemlock Lane east to its terminus
3. Goldenrod Lane from 60th Avenue to 61st Avenue
4. Goldenrod Lane from 60th Avenue south
5. County Road 10 from Hemlock Lane east approximately 1520 feet
by the installation of watermain lateral and trunk facilities, sanitary sewer laterals
and trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer
and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY -THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 25th day of August, 1980, in the City Council
Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such
time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement
will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost
of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given
to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Davenport and upon vote being taken thereon, the
o ow ng voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt
and Schneider
