HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-517CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of August , 1980 The following members were present: Ma or Hunt, ouncilmembers Davenpo—rf Hoyt and Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-517 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 944 - WINDSONG ADDITION WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. Kimberly Lane from County Road 24 northwesterly by the installation of watermain laterals, sanitary sewer laterals, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $47,415.88 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $8,436.75, so the total cost of the improvement will be $55,852.63, and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $55,852.63. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
