Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
4th day of August , 19 86 The following members
were present: Mayor Hunt Counci me. ers Davenpo—rT—,Hoyt and Schneider
The following members were absent: ounce mem er -Neils
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-516
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 924 - 13TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
1. 13th Avenue from Highway 494 to Berkshire Lane
by the installation of watermain laterals and sanitary sewer laterals, bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances and
the contract price for such improvement is $70,857.95 and the expenses incurred or to
be incurred in the makirty of said improvement amount to $11,765.96, so the total cost
of the improvement will he $82,623.91, and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as
its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $82,623.91.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece.or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public
inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Davenport , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
Toillowing voted in favor thereof: Mavor Hunt. Councilmembers Davenport,
HoytandSchneider
The following votes against or aostainea: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly—passed and adopted.
