HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-515CITY OF PLYMDUIN Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of August , 19 80 . The following members were present: Magor Hunt, Qqun�ilmembers Davenport, Hoyt and Schneider efollowiniz members were sent: Councilmember Neils n** *** Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-515 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 921 HADLEY PLACE - QUEENSLAND LANE AREA WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. Queensland Lane from 3rd Avenue North east of Queensland Lane to 6th Avenue North 2. Sanitary Sewer along Hadley Lake within Hadley Place Addition by the installation of watermain laterals, sanitary sewer laterals, storm sewer, 7 -ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $135,263.26 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $28,193.08, so the total cost of the improvement will be $163,456.34, and of this cost the City will pay $23,057.65 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $140,398.69. Resolution No. 80-515 Page 2 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Enginr, sha"T forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such r,nprove nt against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within "he district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provides by ter,,, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the :lark fos. pt;tttc inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed-;essmerrI,, notify the Council thereof.
