HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-510CITY OF PLYI► MM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Mirmesota, was held on the 4th day of August , 19_D The following members were present -i —w Hunt, G MnGilmembers Davenport Hoyt and -Schneider were RRR RRR Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-510 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 707 - SEVEN PONDS AREA WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. County Road 24 from 32nd Avenue northeasterly approximately 1,040 feet and from 32nd Avenue southwesterly approximately 1,250 feet 2. 32nd Avenue from County Road 24 to a point 188.52 feet west of the centerline of Fountain Lane 3. Holly Lane southwesterly from 32nd Avenue RAR by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilities, sanitary sewer laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $276,044.88 and •.he expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $52,567.10, so the total cost of the improvement will be $328,611.98, and of this cost the City will pay $25,819.81 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $302,792.17. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for ester and trunk' main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced projec� shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Residential: $475.00 per 1/2 acre lot or $950.00 per acre Sanitary Sewer Area Residential: $300.00 per 112 acre lot or $600.00 per acre Resolution No. 80-510 Page 2 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, witho,tt regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
