HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-509CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rPg0ar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of August , 19 80, The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councimembers DavenpoFf, Hoyt and Schneider The following members were absent: bund mem er Nells Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its opti on - RESOLUTION N0, 80- 509 RESOLUTION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 806 PINEVIEW LANE IMPROVEMENT P.I.N. 2-118-22-33-0003 WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on July 7, 1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 1. Pineview Lane from County Road 47 south to Minneapolis/St. Paul/ Sault Saint Marie Railroad by the installation of bituminous streets (9 -ton design on Pineview Lane) with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities (including previously constructed facilities) and all necessary appurtenances. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A nearing shall_ be held on the 25th day of AugL.t, 1980, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assess- ment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Davenport and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n favor the Mayor Hunt, Councilmember Davenport, Ine roiiowing voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly7; **f
