Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
28th day of July 19 80 . The following members
' were present: Ma or Hunt Council—mem e�b rs Davenport, Hoyt and Schneider
The following -members were absent: ounce I member Nei Is
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. so- 501
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE
SUBURBAN POLICE RECRUITMENT SYSTEM JOINT AND
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has entered into a joint and cooperative agreement
with other suburban municipalities to form the Suburban Police Recruitment
System; and
WHEREAS, the governing board of the Suburban Police Recruitment System consisting
of representatives from participating municipalities have met and recommended
that the first amendment to the joint and cooperative agreement be approved
by the City Council of each of the participating municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the amendments to be made to the joint and cooperative agreement are
contained in the staff report dated July 25, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, that it should and hereby does adopt the first amendment to the Joint
and Cooperative Agreement for the Suburban Police Recrui:a-nt System, amending
Articles Iv, 'VII, and XIT,
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the

The following voted against or acstainea: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
