Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting_ of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
28th day of July , 19 80. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmemb rs av pjr—t. 8W. -and -Schneider
The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80- 491
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RID
PROJECT NO. 925-001
FOX GLEN II - STREET AND UTILITIES IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for construction of the Fox Glen II
street and utility improvement,
AND, WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears
that American
Contracting Corporation is
the lowest
responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
attached contract with American Contracting Corporation of Coon Rapids, Minnesota
in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the construction of Project 925-001
in the amount of $116,211.80
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract
has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor ereo : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport. Hoyt
and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe..d and adopted.
