Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a ssp� ial meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was a on the
28th day of July 19 80 The following memhers were
present: Mayor Hunt, Gounci mem ers avenpor , Hoyt and Schneider

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-486
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR HOWARD R, ALTON, JR./PAN-O-GOLD BAKING
COMPANY FOR RETAIL THRIFT STORE AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF RANCHVIEW LANE AND
HIGHWAY 55 (79076)
WHEREAS, Howard R. Alton, Jr, on behalf of Pan -O -Gold Baking Company has requested
reconsideration and approval of a conditional use permit to allow a retail bakery
thrift store in the I-1 District; and,
W'!EREAS, the petitioner has submitted information not presented prior to Council
action earlier under Resolution No. 79-783 which denied the proposed use; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal and has recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLY-
MOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the conditional use
permit request by Howard H. Alton, Jr. on behalf of Pan -O -Gold Baking Company
for a retail thrift store at the southeast corner of Ranchview Lane and State
Highway 55 subject to the following conditions:
1. The hours of operation shall be 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
2. No signs relative to the conditional use permit shall be permitted.
3. No banners or advertising shall be displayed on the premises that would
be visible from outside the building.
4. The permit shall be subject to review and renewal in six (6) months.
