Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
21st day of July , 19 80 The following members
were present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Davenpo—rf—,Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: Counci mem er Hoyt
Councilmember Davenport introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80- 457
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS PROJECT 017
ZACHARY LANE PLAYFIELD
WHEREAS, the City has undertaken Project No. 017, and
WHEREAS, in order to construct certain playfield improvements, the City must
have 30.44 acres, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper, and expedient in the
interest bf the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens
of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City attorney is hereby authorized to commence condemnation
proceedings for Project No. 017 for the following described property:
Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, Quarter Quarter 11, Parcel 0002.
Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Commencing at Southeast corner of Northeast : of Northeast ; thence
West to Southwest corner thereof, thence North to Northwest corner
thereof, thence East to a point 350 feet West from Northeast
corner thereof, thence South 450 feet, thence East 350 feet to
East line of Northeast -, thence South 211.25 feet, thence West
at right angles 735.7 feet, thence South 269.94 feet, thence
Southeasterly to a point in East line of Northeast : a distance
of 1,015.01 feet South from Northeast corner thereof, thence
South to beginning except road.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

owing voted In favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Neils and Schneider
The following voted against orabstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
