the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the

RESOLUTION NO. 80A55
DENYING CONCEPT PLAN AND VARIANCE REQUEST FOR MISSION HILLS PARK 8TH PARTNERSHIP
FOR MISSION HILLS PARK 8TH ADDITION LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST QUADRANT OF THE
INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROAD 9 AND ZACHARY LANE (80027)
WHEREAS, Mission Hills Park Sth Partnership has requested approval of a concept
plan and variance for a residential planned unit development on approximately 18.5
acres consisting of 36 single family detached dwellings located in the southwest
quadrant of the intersection of County Road 9 and Zachary Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal at a duly called Public
Informational Meeting and has recommended denial;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request o MMission Hills Park
8th Partnership for approval of a concept plan and variance for Mission Hills Park
8th Addition, a residential planned unit development located at the southwest
quadrant of the intersection of County Road 9 and Zachary Lane for the following
reasons:
I. The request requires a variance from the ordinance provision for deducting
density points.
2. The proposal does not provide any of the positive attributes required by
ordinance for an RPUD.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Davenport,
Neils and Schneider
