Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, nnesota was held on t e
7th day of July , 19 80 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt and Schneider
The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt and Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 80-447
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 917
BALDWIN CHEVROLET STORM SEWER
WHEREAS, by a Resolution passed by the Council on July 7, 1980, the City Clerk was
directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements:
56th Avenue from a point 593.39 feet east of the centerline of Nathan Lane
to a point 1388.71 feet east of the centerline of Nathan Lane
by the installation of storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been '
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 28th day of July, 1980, in the City Council
Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such
time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement
will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost
of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given
to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Cquncilmember Schneider . and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
