Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e
7th day of July , 19 80 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt and Schneider
The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt and Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 80-436
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED P,SSESSMENT
PROJECT 902
NORTHWEST INTERCEPTOR SEWER
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
extension of the Northwest Sanitary Interceptor from its existing terminus
at Plymouth Creek approximately 1000 feet west of Fernbrook Lane, generally
in a northeasterly direction along Plymouth Creek to Vicksburg Lane by the
installation of sanitary sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the con-
tract price for such improvement is $394,780.02 and the expenses incurred or
to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $75,766.64, so the
total cost of the improvement will be $470,546.66; and of this cost the City
will pay $334,415.66 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $136,131.00.
2. The City Clerk,with the assitance of.the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for
public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmembpr Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted n ravor ereo : Actin Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Hoyt and
Schneider -
