RESOLUTION N0. 80-434 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 806 PINEVIEW LANE IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. Pineview Lane from County Road 47 south to Minneapolis/St. Paul/ Sault Saint Marie Railroad, 2. Oakview Lane in Palmer Cove Addition, 3. County Road 47 from County Road 10 to I-494, and 4. -Pineview Lane from 49th Avenue to the Minneapolis/St. Paul/ Sault Saint Marie Railroad by the installation of sanitary sewer laterals and trunk facilities, watermain lateral and trunk facilities, bituminous streets (9 -ton design on Pineview Lane and 7 -ton design on residential streets) with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities (including previously constructed facilities) and all necessary appurtenances; and the contract price for such improvement is $1,202,154.37, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $274,048.39, so the total cost of the improvement will be $1,476,202.76; and of this cost the City will pay $355,078.72 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $1,121,525.99. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for sanitary sewer and water trunk facilities and pumping and storage facilities for the above - referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Sewer Area Commercial: $900.00/acre Residential: 600.00/acre Water Area Commercial: $1425.00/acre Residential: 950.00/acre Resolution No. 80-434 Page 2 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
