Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a nen tl-ie 7th day of

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the follow'ng Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 80-433
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 804.
FERNBROOK LANE IMPROVEMENT - HARBOR LANE TO CO. RD. 9
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
1. Fernbrook Lane from CSAH 9 to approximately 416 ft. north of Harbor Lane,
2. 40th Avenue east of Fernbrook Lane,
3. 35th Avenue east of Fernbrook Lane,
4. the area north of CSAH 9 from approximately Glacier Lane to I-494
tributary to the Fernbrook Lane sewer (Sewer District NW -7) according
to plan of the Report Supplement of the Comprehensive Sewer Report of
Plymouth, Minnesota 1973, and.
5. Glacier Lane north of .:SAH 9
by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities, watermain
lateral and trunk facilitites, bituminous street construction (9 -ton design on
Fernbrook Lane and 7 -ton design on residential streets) with concrete curb and
gutter, storm drainage facilities, bridge replacement on Fernbrook Lane at Plymouth
Creek, sanitary sewer trunk and laterals to serve the existing and proposed plats
on the east and west sides of Fernbrook Lane south of CSAH 9, and the contract price
for such improvement is $1,300,174.18 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred
in the making of said improvement amount to $260,274.80 so the total cost of the
improvement will be $1,560,448.98 and of this cost the City will pay $269,711.04 as
its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $1,290,737.94.

2. It is further determined that the following charges for water and sewer
trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced
project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning.
Sanitary Sewer Area
Commercial: $900.00/acre
Residential: $600.00/acre
Water Area
Commercial: $1425.00/acre
Residential: $950.00/acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of .he City Engineer shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve-
ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the
district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by ldw,
and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the
Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk, shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
