Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he -on the
7th day of Jul , 1980 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Dayen ort, ouncilmemb rs Hoyt and Schneider
The following members were absent: Mayor 95-577R-3 ounciMembers Rel I s
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 80- 421
Resolution Accepting Bids
Project 017
La Compte, Oakwood, Fernbrook and Plymouth Playfield Shelters
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the
La Compte, Oakwood, Fernbrook and Plymouth playfield shelter buildings, and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids as shown on the attached "Exhibit A" were received complying
with the advertisement, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the following is the lowest responsible bidder:
R.C. Dahlstrom, Inc. $310,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that
1. The Mayer and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with the following in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the construction of park shelters at La Compte, Oakwood,
Fernbrook and Plymouth community playfields:
R.C. Dahlstrom, Inc. $310,000.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shalt be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
10 1Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Hovt and Schneider

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
