HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-414CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 30th day of June , 1980 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Davenport. and Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION NO. 80-414 AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR PROJECT NO. 950 COUNTY ROAD 6 AND VICKSBURG LANE WHEREAS, The County and the City for some time have been negotiating to bring about improvement to the intersection of County Road 6 and Vicksburg Lane (Project No. 950) as shown°on the Cities plan for County Project No. 7819 which improvement contemplates and includes grading, bituminous base, bituminous surfacing, drainage, conduit for traffic signal system and other related improvement, and WHEREAS, the above described project lies within the corporate limits of the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the Cities Consulting Engineer has heretofore prepared an engineer's estimate of quantities and unit prices of materials and labor for the above dEscribed project and an estimate of the total cost for the contract work in the sum of $185,318.00 and WHEREAS, it is contemplated that said work be carried out by the City under the provision of M.S. Section 162.17, Subdivision 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the attached "Construction Cooperative Agreement" with Hennepin County for said project.
