HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-413CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of June , 1980 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt. C u cilmembers Hoyt and Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmembers Davenport and Neils Ma or Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved ts ition: RESOLUTION NO. 80-413 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS PROJECT NO. 007 10TH AVENUE - NATHAN LANE WEST 1320 FEET - STREET AND UTILITIES WHEREAS, the City has undertaken Project No. 007, and WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements certain permanent and temporary easements are required; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and expedient in the interest of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Plymouth, for the City to acquire said easements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence condemnation proceedings for Project No. 007 for the following described easements over the following described parcels: 1. That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, described as follows: Commencing at a point 177 feet West of the Northeast corner of Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4; thence South parallel with East line of said Southwest 1/4 of North- east 1/4 a distance of 176.5 feet; thence East parallel with the North line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 a distance of 160 feet; thence North parallel with East line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 of the North line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 to a point 17 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4; thence West to point of beginning. -and- 2. That part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, described as follows: Commencing at a point 227 feet West of Northeast corner of Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4; thence South Resolution #80-413 Page 2 • parallel with East line of said Southwest 1/4 of North- east 1/4 a distance of 226.5 feet; thence East parallel with North line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 a distance of 210 feet; thence North parallel with East line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 a distance of 50 feet; thence West parallel with North line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 a distance of 160 feet; thence North parallel with East line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 a distance of 176.5 feet; thence West parallel with South line of said Southwest 1/4 of Northeast 1/4 a distance of 50 feet to point of beginning.
