HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-399CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June , 19 80 . The following members were present:MaXor Hunt, Counci mem ers oy and—Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmembers Davenport 5nd Neils Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-399 DENYING REQUEST BY MARVELLE JOANNE GLOVER FOR LOT DIVISION AT 1120 IVES LANE (80034) WHEREAS, Marvelle Joanne Glover, 1120 Ives Lane North, has requested lot division of platted property described as Lot 12, Block 6, Beacon Heights Second Addition; and, WHEREAS, the proposed new parcel consists of lowland and marsh with substandard soils virtually throughout; and, WHEREAS, petitioner does not propose development of the new parcel at this time and thus has not presented evidence of building feasibility which is questionable based upon submitted information indicating severe physical constraints as well as abutment upon a trunk highway; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request by Marvelle Joanne Glover for division of platted property at 1120 Ives Lane North on the grounds that the building feasibility of the proposed new parcel is questionable due to severe physical constraints and abutment on a trunk highway. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �ou��ncilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted 5 avor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt and The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
