HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-398CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of June , 19 80 . The following masers were present: Ma or Hunt, Counci mem ersavenpo�, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following mem ers were absent: one Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 80-398 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INCREASE IN MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FROM 15¢ to 20d PER MILE WHEREAS, it is necessary for city employees to occasionally use personal cars for the conduct of city business; and WHEREAS, the cost of vehicle operation has risen substantially in the last few years; and WHEREAS, the present rate of 15 cents reimbursement per mile does not adequately cover associated vehicle costs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that it should and hereby does authorize reimbursement at a rate of 20 cents per mile for the use of personal cars for the conduct of city business provided that such use is authorized by the supervisor and reimbursement is requested in accordance with administrative procedures. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by nQilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: —Ma_yor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hot Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and a op e
