The following memhers were present: mayor Hgnt, Counc_ilmembers DavenporT7 Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were absent: one to iurcilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moveditsadoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 396 DIRECTING DISTRIBUTION OF UPDATED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapters 473.851-473.872, requires the City to prepare a comprehensive plan in accordance with Laws 1976, Chapter 127, Sections 1 to 23; and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan ._and Planning Act requires that local governmental units submit their proposed plans to adjacent governmental units and affected school districts for review and comment prior to submission of the plans to the Metropolitan Council; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Comprehensive Land Use Guide Plan and supporting plans have been reviewed and updated during the past several years with the intent of submitting the updated comprehensive plan in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Planning Commission on May 28, 1980 following a duly called public hearing, recommended approval of the draft Comprehensive Plan Update and referral to neighboring communities and school districts; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does direct distribution of the draft Comprehensive Plan Update transmitted under the Staff memorandum dated June 13, 1980, to adjacent governmental units and affected school districts for review and comment. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CounCilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote inter thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt. Neils and' Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
