Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetina_ of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
2nd day of June , 1980 . The following members were

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
move its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-366
ELM CREEK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City of Plymouth and the City of Maple Grove will
have a joint project to improve the drainage channel of Elm Creek between County
Road 47 and Elm Creek Road; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement will involve the removal of trees and other
vegetation encroaching upon the channel area of Elm Creek between Elm Creek Road
and approximately 300 feet upstream; and
WHEREAS, the City of Maple Grove has agreed to the joint project; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City of Plymouth would cut and remove the trees in
the channel area and pay for the disposal of the trees, and the City of Maple Grove
would obtain the necessary easements in order to perform the work and provide the
manpower and equipment to haul the trees to the disposal site;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the proposed improvement project on the channel of Elm Creek between
County Road 47 and Elm Creek Road is hereby approved.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT up to a maximum amount of $4,300 be allocated for the
project from the Storm Sewer Impro;�ement Tax District No. 3 - Elm Creek Watershed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
