Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 80-356
RESOLUTION DEFERRING FURTHER CONSIDERATION OF THE PROPOSED UNION
CITY MISSION INCORPORATED PROJECT UNDER THE MINNESOTA MUNICIPAL
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT.
WHEREAS, the Union City Mission, Inc., a Minnesota non-profit corporation, has
proposed that the City undertake and finance a project under the Municipal
Industrial Development Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 414 (the Act); and
WHEREAS, the Act as amended requires that a public hearing on the proposed project
be conducted by the Council before any action may be taken by it relative to
the proposed project; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed project has been conducted by the Council
on June 2, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth:
1. The Council has met on June 2, 1980 and conducted a public
hearing on the proposed project requested by the Union City
Mission, Inc.
2. That further consideration of this request be deferred by this
Council pending clarification by the Union City Mission on the
scope and timing of the proposed project.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
10 voted in favor ereomayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained; one
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
