Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the V
27th day of May 1980 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-349
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1980 SEAL COAT WORK, STREET PATCHING AND CONCRETE CURB REPAIR
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the City Engineer for the
improvement of certain streets within the City by the construction of a bituminous
seal coat, concrete curb repair and street patching , and said plans and specifica-
tions have been presented to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to
be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m.,
Friday, June 20, 1980, at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota, by the
City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond
or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount
of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
. Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vo n favor ereo : Acting_ Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers
