Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota waS held on the
19th day of May , 19 80 • The following memhers were
;resent: MAyor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: Councilmember Davenport
ounpilmpmber Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0, 80-322
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR WALTER ORTMAN FOR CONTROL
DATA LOCATED AT 2200 BERKSHIRE LANE NORTH (A-203)
WHEREAS, Walter Ortman for Control Data has requested an amendment to a
conditional use permit for a second 60 foot tower to be installed at 2200
Berkshire Lane for a wind sensor; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve an amendment to
a conditional use permit for a second 60 foot tower for a wind sensor to be
installed at 2200 Berkshire Lane subject to the following conditions:
1. The permit is subject to all applicable rules, regulations, and ordinances
and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. Effective measures shall be taken to prevent public trespassing.
3. Construction to be per applicable building codes.
4. Safety in operation to be reviewed in one (1) year after installation
regarding functional and design safety.
The motion for the adoption -of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor t ereof--ldayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils
and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
