Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
5th day of Ma '19 80. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Counci mem ers avenp—RT, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved itsts—adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-305
ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS - SEGMENT 2
VICKSBURG LANE FROM COUNTY ROAD 6 TO
NORTH LINE OF MINNEAPOLIS WORKHOUSE PROPERTY
UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 002
WHEREAS, a Resolution was adopted the 7th day of January, 1980 fixing a date for
a public hearing with respect to street and utility improvements on Vicksburg
Lane from Highway 55 to County Road 6; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of watermain, storm
sewer, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, medians and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications
of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 4th day
of February, 1980, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Final plans and specifications are hereby directed as proposed in the
Council Resolution adopted January 7, 1980 and as contained in the
preliminary engineering report received the same date.
2. Strgar-Roscoe, Inc. is hereby designated as engineer for the improve-
ment. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.
3. The city attorney is directed to prepare an agreement with the City of
Minneapolis on assessments for the Workhouse property.
4. This resolution does not authorize the advertisement for bids.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
