HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-294CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a on t e 5th day of Ma• , 1980 The following members were presenter ayfor Hunt, Councimem ers avenpor, , Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following members were a sen n Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved s adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-294 APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR HICKS CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF MEDINA ROAD AND RANCHVIEW LANE (80018) WHEREAS, Hicks Concrete Construction has requested approval of a site plan for an office/warehouse structure located in the I-1 District at the southwest corner of the intersection of Medina Road and Ranchview Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends its approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Hicks Concrete Construction for site plan approval of an office/warehouse structure to be located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Medina Road and Ranchview Lane subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Payment of park dedication fees in lieu of land dedication based upon the verified acreage at the time of building permit issuance in accordance with current City Policy. 3. Submittal of required site performance financial guarantee termed for a period of 24 months. 4. All waste and waste containers shall be stored in the structure and no outside storage of equipment or materials is permitted. 5. Compliance with City Policy and City Code with respect to fire hydrants and fire lanes. 6. Compliance with City Policy Resolution -No. 79-80 regarding developments containing or adjacent to areas with storm water holding facilities. 7. Signage shall be as per approved plans. Plans shall be ,•evised to provide complete circulation of the parking area with a connecting drive in front of the building with all,.setbacks in accordance with ordinance standards. 9. This approval is specifically for Phase I and subsequent phases shall be subject to review of submitted site plans in terms of the applicable ordinance and code requirements. 10. Temporary bituminous curbing is permitted along the south side with Phase I; the parking adjacent to the building and setbacks shall be reconfigured to allow for 90 degree spaces rather than parallel parking. 11. The landscape plan shall be in accordance with the City Landscape Criteria, and the Black Hills Spruce shall be at a 6 foot height instead of a 2 inch diameter. 7be motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded i r , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 1 w awr thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport.
