Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
21st day of April , 19 80. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider
The following members were absent: one
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-282
AGREEMENT ON INFILTRATION/INFLOW ANALYSIS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Plymouth sanitary sewer system is
subject to excessive infiltration/inflow as determined by a study conducted by the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission; and
WHEREAS, the city is eligible to receive grants from EPA and MPCA to conduct an
analysis program which will identify the presence, flow rate and type of I/I
conditions which exist in the sewer system; and
WHEREAS, the city has budgeted funds as part of the approved 1980 budget to conduct
such a study;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into an agreement
with the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for federal and state grants to con-
duct an I/I analysis program in accordance with state and federal regulations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city agrees to pay the ten percent (10%) local share
of the program costs.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt,
Neils and Schneider
