The following members were present: Ma or Hunt Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The follow ng members were absent: None *t. Davenportintroduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-279 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 017 LA COMPTE, OAKWOOD, FERNBROOK AND PLYMOUTH COMMUNITY PLAYFIELDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on February 25, 1980, the consulting engineer, Bather, Ringrose, Wolsfeld, Jarvis, Gardner, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the following improvements: 1) La Compte Community Playfield 2) Oakwood Community Playfield 3) Fernbrook Community Playfield 4) Plymouth Community Playfield NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2) The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifi- cations. The advertisement shall be published for three dayq, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 1980, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash desposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by r , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider The following voted against orabstained: one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
