HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1980-257Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heldon the 7th day of April , 19 80. The following members were present: _Mayor Hynt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider . The following members were absent: None r �,�nr_ilme ber Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80- 257 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND KINGSWOOD FARM ADDITION (A-759) WHEREAS, in accordance with the Development Contract, dated August 9, 1978, Centurion Company, developer of Kingswood Farm Addition (A-759) has agreed t install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the Developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the Developer has requested a reduction of the Development Bond to reflect the completed work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 134,900 $ 0 Sanitary Sewer 125,500 0 Watermain 105,300 0 Storm Sewer 54,800 0 Boulevard Sod 16,800 16,800 Ponds 0 0 Street Signs 1,800 11800 Street Sweeping & Storm Sewer Cleaning 1,500 1,500 Erosion Control 2,000 2,000 Site Grading 41,000 0 Design, Admn., Insp., etc. 58,032 0 TOTALS $ 541,632 $ 22,100 That the Letter of Credit, which was previously reduced to $39,860 be further reduced to $22,100 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter are accepted, as of April 7, 1980, for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the Developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote inavor thereof: —Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hot Neils and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
