Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held-En—the
7th day of AariI , 1980 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport, Hoyt, Neils and Schneider.

moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-241
RECEIVING PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - SYCAMORE LANE FROM 8TH AVE. TO WINDEMERE DRIVE
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting on Sycamore Lane from
8th Ave. to Windermere Drive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Sycamore Lane from 8th Ave.
to Windemere Drive filed with the City Council on April 7, 1980, is here-
with received.
2. The petition is not signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will
10 require public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
' Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon the
following vote in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Davenport,
Hoyt and Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Neils
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
